Our members: students, faculty, staff, and community members with one common love... Paddling! We operate as an RSO under the official name of Southern Illinois University Canoe & Kayak Club… better known as Team SICK.

Definite and defining objective: paddling!

Although Illinois is not a premier hub of whitewater, it isn’t all corn fields either. We are constantly scouting new runs, traveling where we can, and are always open to envisioning paddling possibilities were there are thought to be none.
